 Jesus, love, commitment, ministry, family, loyalty, hard work these are a handful of the ingredients that have been a part of Scott and Lori's relationship journey from the beginning! Going all the way back to 1974 in Castle Rock, WA., the friendship started and grew to more than friendship when they both experienced a life changing radical conversion in 1977. Scott and Lori were married in 1978, and were actively involved in ministry from that point forward. After 3 years of youth pastoring at the Castle Rock Christian Church and one year of life invested to training at Portland Bible College, the Lord moved them to Woodland. A life of love, marriage and ministry continued with youth pastoring at Christ's Fellowship, along with three more years of P.B.C. It was Scott's junior year at P.B.C., with Lori already into several years as a veterinarian technician that Casey was born, followed by Destiny 2 years later. A son and a daughter born into a family passionate for the Kingdom of God, the size of the family had changed but the ingredients of their lives had not. Now, with 30 years of marriage and almost 30 years of ministry under their belts, (20 as Senior Pastors of Life Center Church) Scott and Lori along with their son Casey, (who was married to Ashley Bergeson in January 2007) and daughter Destiny, are pursuing the presence of God and His Kingdom like never before. Casey and Ashley recently welcomed their first baby into the family, an amazing baby boy, Laik Zion Schang who is destined for greatness in the Kingdom. |
